Francisco Pizarro is the appointed governor of the Governorate of New Castile (Peru). He commands the Spanish invasion forces, including Señor Gomez and Captain Gaspard. He is a ruthless and avaricious despotic commander who holds little value for others' lives unless they serve to aid his purpose. Pizarro has Señor Gomez bring him Zia the daughter of an Incan high priest. She was kidnapped from Peru when the Spanish first invaded. She was given as a present to the Queen of Spain. Governor Pizarro wants her to read the Golden Quipu. He believes it will tell him where to find the Lost cities of gold.
